At DOCTOR BIKE we can fix that flat tyre, replace that broken spoke, adjust those gears that don’t work properly, fit new gear or brake cables, replace that worn chain. In fact there is not much DOCTOR BIKE cannot do. And we can now do all this in our workshop or at the race/event you are taking part in.
New Bike Assembly
Have you purchased a new bike and require it assembled? Purchased a new bike and it doesn’t feel quite right? At DOCTOR BIKE we will assemble it correctly for as little as $20.00.
Wheel Building
We offer a full wheel building service. We can supply all the parts or we will build using what you already have.
General Check Up $50.00 – includes the following:
Check chain and sprockets for wear and advise accordingly.
Check gears for correct operation and adjust accordingly.
Check brakes for correct operation and adjust accordingly.
Check all bolts for correct torque settings.
Minor Surgery Drivetrain $50.00
Remove chain, cassette, and both derailleurs and clean
Check Rear derailleur hanger for alignment
Reassemble, lube and test ride
Or
Wheels – Cup and Cone hubs $50.00
Remove both wheels
Re-grease bearings in both hubs
Check rotor bolts are tight
Check tension of spokes in both wheels
Reinstall wheels and test ride
Major Surgery – Cup and cone hubs – loose ball headset and BB $125.00
Remove all parts from frame and polish
Clean all parts
Complete Minor Surgery on wheels and Drivetrain
Re-grease Headset and BB
Reinstall all parts and adjust for correct operation
Suspension Forks and Disc Brakes
Full strip down and service maintenance available for most makes and models.
We only charge for the time taken, parts and fluids used.
Complete Make Over - call it a ‘service’
